The concept of an alkaline diet goes back decades with mixed opinions with some believing we cannot change the pH of our bodies with what we eat while other believe we can. My position is that an alkaline diet is a healthier way to eat whether it is scientifically proven to raise the pH in your body or not. Eating less processed foods, meats and more fruits and vegetables is never a bad thing and can improve long term health and that has been clinically proven.
